Leather carving exercise- this exercise was interesting in controlling power that has been done by tools and hammer. Because the pressure is applied to surface of leather through tools unexpected pattern appeared on colour and shape. Too much pressure results burnt colour on the pattern. Rough finished edge is giving feeling of natural leather for me than clear and neat edge. Last one I made string out of leather but it was too fragile to be so. I had to restart at the middle of it. But I think the colour of it mixed well with natural colour range of leather.
