Crochet Motifs

This is variation of crochet technique making motif in triangular shape. Because of fine diametre the shape of the motif is not stable but when it joined into the panel and pulled out it will be shown in its own shape. Tension of each chain should have been tighter and even whereas this trial has little bit distorted silhouette and not symmetrical shape on both side.

These are two versions of the granny square crochet motif. With different yarn has different diametre and components performs differnently, and looked like from different pattern. Top one looks more flowery and bottom one looks more square and stiff. Because this will be on top of the woven fabric as a part, i thought fine diametre will be in a harmony better in appearence.

HRW10-D01 Dress final toile

The corner matched well into tucks and darts, as well as the armhole of the reglan sleeve worked in smoother line along the armhole. The width of front bodice adjusted to the level of proper movement and  slim fitting.

Reglan sleeve didn't worked well to the toile. the corner of the sleeve pattern was too sharp to be fitted in and width of the bodice panel has extanded into sleeve. so i had to adjsut pattern by making smoother line along reglan line and reduce the width of the bodice panel.

Diamond shaped centre front panel was really hard to sew. matching point into corner was chellenging and it was hard to make it flat, each time i sew the corner there was tucks made into the corner point.

HRW10-D01 Dress Back

This toile has extanded too much of its width along the bodice. so i took out from the side seams and centre back seam. it was hard to change the centre back panel because it was made all in a pararell line but adjustment line was shaped into the back silhouette. For more shaping along the body line (not the skirt), bodice panel, only above the waist line, reduced its width by the dart into seam line.
